As an undergraduate and graduate student, I made it a point to have various placements of interest. After graduate school, I continued to work within various settings until I felt confident that working with children and families was the area for me.

I have also always enjoyed the diversity in my role as a social worker. I have been fortunate to be able to utilize my profession as a private practitioner, an adjunct professor at NYU School of Social Work, and a member of the American Red Cross.

My Ph.D. degree solidified my undergraduate and graduate education. I have strengthened my skills in order to effectively do clinical work, do research and obtain faculty positions. I love being able to wake up in the morning knowing I will be doing something I truly enjoy!
