I chose to work with issue of overeating when I realized that many people struggle with dieting and weight concerns even if they don’t have an eating disorder diagnosis. I began using a non-diet approach that successfully helps people end the preoccupation with food and weight. I’ve co-authored two books on eating and weight issues. It’s been incredibly rewarding to receive e-mails from people that I’ve never met saying that these books have changed their lives!

I couldn’t provide therapy or meet the licensing requirements without my degrees. They also give me credibility to present at professional conferences or workshops for the public, and to be quoted in newspaper or magazine articles.
