As a student of literature, I was led to social work by the activism of the sixties. Now I combine my passion for working with people and the love of the word to create “cultures of peace” through storytelling and poetry.

Some of my most rewarding moments were when I was able to create communication between European social work students, Indian clinicians and the sex workers. As a western practitioner who happens to be from South Asia, I was able to build bridges between east and west.
